My Story…

My full name is Eleazar Casia Manalo, but most people call me Elli, or sometimes just plain ‘E’. I was born in Quezon City, Philippines, the youngest out of 3 boys. My 2 older brothers are Eugene and Edgar. My parents are Leticia and Eduardo. My family left the the Philippines only after a couple of months after I was born. My dad was actually contracted to do some work in Nigeria, Africa, beforehand. They went back and forth from the Philippines to Nigeria until I was born. After I came, we moved back to Nigeria and stayed there for a little under 2 years. We then started making our way to the U.S. visiting parts of Europe along the way. We finally made it to the U.S. when we landed in New York. From there we flew to San Francisco where we would settle in the Bay Area, Northern California.

I attended Bracher Elementary School in Santa Clara up to 5th grade. I then went to Peterson Middle School for 6th grade, but transfered to Cabrillo Middle School for 7th and 8th. For high school, I went to Wilcox High where I graduated in 1998. I then attended De Anza/Foothill Community College where I received an A.A. degree in Liberal Arts. Afterwards, I moved down to Southern California when I transfered to California State University, San Bernardino. I graduated in 2003 with a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Management. I also received a minor degree in Information Mapping.

Immediately after I graduated, I moved to Orange County with my cousin’s, Rodrigo Victoria and Ryan Aquino. I also began working for a mortgage company in Redlands doing IT work. I stayed down there for a little under two years, but then decided to move back home to Northern California where I am now. Now I work for a Santa Clara based VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) company called Packet8, where I’m currently a Support Supervisor for our Virtual Office Division.
